THE GREAT AWAKENING

As we navigate a turbulent season of uncertainty and crisis, believers are seeking the Lord and interceding for the USA with unprecedented passion. Our prayer group and ministry team have joined the fervent prayers of many other Christians as we cry out for the soul of our nation.

However, on the morning of December third, I was soaking in the presence of the Lord without any specific prayer in my heart. In the midst of the soaking session, the Holy Spirit gave me a vision and an interpretation as the vision unfolded. First, I saw the old Soviet Union flag blowing in the wind: stark red with a yellow sickle and hammer. Then, underneath the flag, a huge brown bear was walking towards me with great menace and purpose. In its mouth, I saw three joined bones, almost like they were ribs. Immediately, the Lord told me each bone represented a branch of the United State’s government; executive, judicial and legislative.

Then, I felt a presence to my left and turned to see what was next to me. I saw that right next to me was a huge eagle. Its’ eyes were completely focused on the bear. And I became aware that a huge USA flag was waving in the wind above the eagle. Interestingly enough, the flag waving over the eagle was the original flag with thirteen stars representing the colonies. It was the Betsy Ross flag.
I saw that the bear was also focused on the eagle and was ready for a fight. I knew that the eagle was planning to pluck the bones out of the bear’s mouth and the bear was planning to swipe the eagle with its’ huge paws and knock it to the ground. I felt tension and fear. I knew that this battle would not be easy. Even though the eagle could fly, the bear had lightning quick reflexes and amazing strength. I was afraid the eagle would not be able to escape the bear’s attack.

I saw the eagle take flight and his gaze never wavered from the bones in the bear’s mouth. And the bear reared up ready to knock the eagle to the ground. Quick as lightning, the eagle swooped down and plucked the bones out of the bear’s mouth. The bear took a huge swipe against the eagle and barely missed. The eagle soared away free. Then the vision ended.

I knew that the Lord was saying the same principality that had birthed communism was coming after the USA. The three branches of the American government was already in its clutches. Right now, the battle is for the very soul of our nation. As the saints have been praying, declaring and defending this great nation, the Lord was releasing the spirit of freedom, represented in the eagle, to rescue America from the clutches of the enemy. The reason the Lord showed me the Betsy Ross flag was to communicate that the battle our nation is facing is like the Revolutionary War of 1776. We are fighting for freedom for generations to come. The USA is once again facing an enemy that would steal the identity of this nation.

Although it may seem like a close fight, the prayers of the saints are prevailing.

“For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
(1 Peter 3:12)

The principality that has destroyed so many other nations through communism will not be allowed to destroy America. The Lord is in this fight and will ensure victory for our nation. I believe as we continue to see corruption being exposed at the highest levels of our government, we will see the return of justice and righteousness in our nation.

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne.”
(Psalm 89:14)

The Great Awakening is upon us. It is a spiritual move that will affect every sphere of society. In order for the proper throne to be established for the one true God, righteousness and justice must prevail. We are now in the process of building such a throne.
